As Director of Economic Development at Portland General Electric (PGE), Charlie Allcock is focused on retaining and expanding business and industry in Oregon. PGE is the largest electric utility in Oregon, serving over 8,000 customers in the Portland-Salem metropolitan area.

Charlie has played a leadership role in attracting renewable and clean energy businesses to Oregon, including solar manufacturing companies and wind power generation. Charlie will discuss how Oregon became the first choice for some of these industries, and what new industries are looking for in their highly-competitive siting decisions between states and regions.
